Ahmo Hight, a native of Chicago, Illinois, carved a niche for herself as a fitness model, swimsuit model, and actress. Her initial claim to fame came in 1994 with victories at the Ms. Fitness USA (Western States Division) tournament and Ms. Fit Body Bay Area. This success opened doors to modeling assignments for fitness and muscle-focused publications. In 1997, Hight embarked on an acting career, occasionally working under the name Amy Hite. Her acting credits primarily include direct-to-video and cable films, many of which fall into the softcore erotic genre. She also lent her presence to several productions from Playboy magazine.

Beyond these ventures, Hight's resume includes an appearance opposite Anna Nicole Smith in the mock documentary Anna Nicole Smith Exposed.
