Aimee Richelle Teegarden, born October 10, 1989, has established herself as an American actress and model. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Julie Taylor in the NBC series Friday Night Lights, her role as Jenny Randall in the horror film Scream 4, and her performance as Nova Prescott in the Disney movie Prom. Teegarden's modeling career includes work on campaigns for Old Navy, Tommy Hilfiger, Alltel, Hollister, and YMI jeans. Her television credits also feature appearances on Cold Case, Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide, and Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana.

Her journey in acting gained significant momentum in 2006 when she joined the cast of Friday Night Lights, starring alongside Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton. As Julie Taylor, she played the eldest daughter of Eric Taylor, a high school head football coach, and Tami Taylor, an aspiring high school guidance counselor. Teegarden remained a fixture on the show until its conclusion in 2011.

A notable moment in her public life occurred on August 24, 2007, during the Miss Teen USA pageant. Teegarden posed a question to a contestant that prompted a widely discussed response. In 2008, she appeared in the music video for Hinder's song "Without You," sharing the screen with Kellan Lutz. This series premiered on October 18, 2011, on Facebook, marking it as the first "social series." In 2011, Teegarden also took on a supporting role in the slasher film Scream 4, playing a high schooler with a passion for horror. Later that year, she starred as Nova Prescott in the Disney film Prom, depicting an ambitious high school senior on her way to Georgetown University, who navigates prom preparations alongside themes of love, heartbreak, and parental expectations. In the film, she developed a romance with the school's "bad boy," Jesse Richter, portrayed by Thomas McDonell. In recognition of her work on Friday Night Lights, Teegarden was honored as "TV Actress of the Year" by the Young Hollywood Awards in May 2011. In June 2011, she joined the cast of the war drama Love and Honor, which also features Liam Hemsworth and Teresa Palmer.
