About Alena Seredova
Alena Šeredová, born in Prague on March 21, 1978, is a Czech model currently making her career in Italy. An amusing quirk of her lineage is that her Czech surname, Šereda, translates to "ugly person," a stark contrast to her profession. Her modeling journey began in earnest in 2002, but her path to prominence included significant achievements in 1998. She was the first runner-up in the Miss Czech Republic competition that year, and subsequently represented her nation at Miss World, securing a respectable fourth place in the final round.
Her career in the public eye expanded when Italian comedian Giorgio Panariello selected her to be a co-host on his prime-time television program, Torno Sabato. Šeredová's striking image graced the covers of various publications, including Penthouse Europe, Playboy Europe, Spy, Extreme, and Quo. In 2005, she was selected for the prestigious Max Calendar.
In her personal life, Šeredová was married to Italian professional footballer and goalkeeper, Gianluigi Buffon. The couple welcomed two sons: Louis Thomas Buffon, born December 28, 2007, and David Lee, born November 1, 2009. Their marriage took place in June 2011, and they later separated in May 2014. Alena has a sister, Eliška, who also works as a model. Her mother's name is Jitka Šeredová. Beyond her modeling, Šeredová is a co-owner of the Italian clothing line Baci e Abbracci, a venture she shares with Italian footballer Christian Vieri, a former teammate of Buffon's on the national team. As of 2014, Šeredová has been in a relationship with Italian businessman Alessandro Nasi, and they welcomed a daughter in 2020.
