Alena Vodonaeva is a Russian figure known for her work as a glamour model and television personality. Her career in the public eye began when she was cast on the reality program Dom-2. Following her time on that show, she transitioned to hosting the online series Reality Girl, and subsequently appeared on Naked Dozen. Her television work has also included stints on programs such as Vacation in Mexico and Dancing with the Stars Russia. Prior to her widespread fame, while pursuing a journalism degree at Tyumen State University, Vodonaeva gained early broadcast experience as a presenter for criminal news on her local radio station. An interesting footnote to her diverse career is a brief period where she was part of the music group Plazma, between her reality television and presenting roles. In her personal life, Vodonaeva was previously in relationships with fellow Dom-2 participants Stepan Menshikov and Mai Abrikosov. She later married businessman Alexei Malakeev in 2009. The couple welcomed a son, Bogdan, before divorcing in 2013. Vodonaeva's initial exposure on the reality show Dom-2 was under the guidance of host Kseniya Sobchak.
