About Alex Sim-Wise
Born on November 11, 1982, Alex Sim-Wise is a British talent known for her work as a model, writer, and television personality. Her journey began in Coventry, and her modeling career took off in 2004 after she triumphed in the FHM "Student of the Year" contest, representing the University of East Anglia. At the time of her win, she held the position of captain for the UEA Angels, her university's cheerleading squad. Sim-Wise earned her degree in Film and American Studies in 2004, graduating with a 2:1. Her professional modeling debut occurred in August 2005 when she was featured as a Page 3 Girl in the Daily Star.
The following year proved to be a significant one, as she claimed victory in both the Playboy UK Cyber Girl of the Year competition and the Cover Girl competition for the Daily Star on Sunday. In 2006, and for the majority of 2007, Sim-Wise served as the real-life inspiration for the redhead depicted on the 2006 album cover of The Fratellis. Also in 2006, she was part of a memorable, though ultimately unsuccessful, campaign for Agent Provocateur with Lily Allen. Her modeling work has since included collaborations with renowned photographer Rankin and features in the "Grapevine" section of Playboy US.
Sim-Wise's writing career gained momentum in March 2007 when she began contributing her own column to Front magazine. By April 2009, she expanded her role to encompass the games section of Front magazine, where she is now responsible for all video game reviews. In 2007, viewers saw Sim-Wise in the ITV2 documentary Generation Xcess, which chronicled the social lives of a group of models in the West End. During discussions surrounding the program, she expressed that the typical model party scene was not her preference, describing herself as "more of a rock chick that went to gigs."
Her television appearances continued with a brief role as a secretary in an episode of Sex in Court on E4 in 2007. Sim-Wise was a regular presence on Nuts TV and, in early 2008, hosted her own program on Sumo TV titled In Bed with Sim-Wise. This show, which premiered on March 7, 2008, featured a collection of unusual video clips and assorted segments. That same year, she conducted celebrity interviews for Myspace UK, engaging with figures such as Lady Gaga, Alex Zane, and Jack Black. Sim-Wise has also made minor appearances in the films The Bank Job and RocknRolla. In July 2009, she took on a temporary
