Alexa Towersey — Biography

Alexa's academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science, where she delved deeply into both Biology and Psychology. Her educational pursuits then led her to a postgraduate diploma in Sports Management and Kinesiology. During this time, she gained practical experience at a pilates studio linked to the renowned "All Blacks" rugby team. Her university years were also marked by intense athletic involvement. She trained at the Mania Sportsfighting Academy, achieved distinction as a Linebacker and Wide Receiver for the New Zealand Women's Champion Gridiron team, the Tamaki Lightning, and competed in soccer at a representative level.

In 2007, Alexa relocated to Hong Kong. There, she earned her NASM certification. She also undertook internships with prominent figures like Poliquin, Merinovich, Gray Cook, and Martin Rooney, gaining invaluable insights. Subsequently, she took on the leadership of the Strength and Conditioning department at a premier MMA gym. By 2008, her dedication and skill were recognized when she was ranked among the Top 3 Toughest Trainers in Asia.
