About Alexandra Breckenridge
Born May 15, 1982, in Darien, Connecticut, Alexandra Breckenridge relocated to California at the age of twelve. Her theatrical journey commenced at thirteen, sparked by participation in community theater. This early passion propelled her to Los Angeles to pursue acting professionally. Her cinematic debut arrived with the independent comedy Locust Valley in 1999. This was followed by guest appearances on popular shows like Dawson's Creek and Freaks and Geeks, as well as supporting roles in films such as Big Fat Liar and Orange County, both released in 2002. She also featured in the 2003 short film D.E.B.S., which garnered the Best Short award at the New York Lesbian and Gay Film Festival that same year. Following an appearance on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Breckenridge was presented with the opportunity to star in the UPN pilot Mystery Girl. However, the network ultimately decided to proceed with only one female-led detective series for the 2004-2005 season, leading to Mystery Girl not being greenlit. In 2005, Breckenridge was cast as Michele Weinberger in the ABC Family film Romy and Michele: In the Beginning, a role previously portrayed by Lisa Kudrow. Concurrently, she lent her voice talents to the animated sitcom Family Guy, impersonating figures like Cybill Shepherd and Christina Aguilera. Breckenridge made a significant step into the mainstream in 2006 with a leading role in the comedy She's the Man. She presently resides in Hollywood.
