About Alexandra Rosenfeld
Born in Béziers, France, on November 23rd, 1986, Alexandra Rosenfeld is a notable figure in French beauty pageants and a recognizable presence on television. Her journey to prominence began with her selection as Miss Languedoc in 2005, a title that paved the way for her crowning as Miss France 2006. This victory marked her as the 76th woman to hold the prestigious Miss France title, following in the footsteps of Cindy Fabre. Her international appeal was further recognized when she was crowned Miss Europe in the same year, 2006.
Raised in Béziers, located in the Hérault region, Alexandra stands at a height of 5 feet 8 inches (1.73 m) and has striking blonde hair and brown eyes. Her educational pursuits led her to study tourism in Pézenas. Demonstrating a lifelong commitment to physical activity, she has been involved in athletics since the age of 10, training with the athletics club in Pézenas.
Her path to national recognition included winning the Miss Pays d'Hérault title in 2005, and later that same year, she secured the Miss Languedoc-Roussillon crown. The pinnacle of her pageant career came on December 3rd, 2005, when she was crowned Miss France 2006 during a televised event on TF1, hosted by Jean-Pierre Foucault in Cannes. She succeeded Cindy Fabre and became the 77th Miss France. Extending her reign, she was also named Miss Europe 2006 on October 27th in Kyiv, Ukraine. Her participation in international competitions included representing France at the Miss Universe pageant on July 23rd, 2006. Notably, she was the last Miss Europe crowned before the contest was revived in 2016.
Alexandra Rosenfeld has also made a name for herself through her television appearances. She has lent her expertise as a member of the jury for the Miss France 2013 competition. Viewers may also recognize her from her appearances on the adventure show Fort Boyard on France 2, and as the mystery passenger in an installment of the French version of Peking Express on M6. Her involvement in culinary television includes a guest spot on the French rendition of Top Chef on M6, where she served as a jury member on March 11th, 2013.
In her personal life, Alexandra Rosenfeld, who is of Jewish heritage, actively participated in a demonstration against anti-Semitism in February 2006, following a tragic incident in Paris.
