Her career has seen her grace the pages of Russian men's magazine Maxim for alluring photo shoots, participate in various commercial advertising endeavors, and strut down the runway at fashion shows. Her involvement in the Miss Russia 2012 competition culminated in her being awarded the title of Vice Miss Russia.

Born in Tyumen to Nadezhda and Alex Shishkov, Alena pursued her education at the Institute of Law, Economics and Management at Tyumen State University, focusing on a specialization in management. Her artistic inclinations surfaced early, as she attended a musical arts school during her teenage years, honing her skills in vocals and guitar. Her photographic journey began at the young age of 13 with a shoot for Fashion Collection magazine.
