About Allison Munn

Allison Munn is an American actress known for her roles in popular television series. She portrayed Caroline Dupree in the Fox comedy "That '70s Show," and Tina Haven in The WB's "What I Like About You." Audiences also saw her as Lauren in the drama "One Tree Hill," which aired on The WB and later The CW, and as Anne Harper in the Nickelodeon sitcom "Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn."

Born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina, Munn is the daughter of Russell Munn, a political lobbyist. She completed her secondary education at AC Flora High School and went on to attend The College of Charleston. After moving to New York, she landed a part in the Off-Broadway production of "The Fantasticks."

Following her theatrical work, Munn appeared in smaller film roles, including the adaptation of Janet Fitch's novel "White Oleander," sharing the screen with Alison Lohman, Michelle Pfeiffer, Robin Wright-Penn, and Renée Zellweger. She also featured in Cameron Crowe's romantic tragicomedy "Elizabethtown" alongside Orlando Bloom and Kirsten Dunst. In September 2003, Munn secured a co-starring role in the second season of "What I Like About You" as Tina Haven, the new best friend of Amanda Bynes's character. Despite playing characters of the same age, Munn is significantly older than Bynes. Munn remained with the series until its conclusion in April 2006. She also contributed to "That '70s Show" with a recurring part as Caroline, the persistent girlfriend of Fez. Munn was a co-star in the brief ABC sitcom "Carpoolers" from October 2007 to March 2008, playing Cindy. In 2009, she joined the cast of "One Tree Hill" in a recurring capacity as Lauren, Jamie Scott's teacher who develops a relationship with Skills Taylor. From 2014 to 2018, Munn played Anne Harper, the mother of the main quadruplet characters, in the Nickelodeon show "Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn." In 2017, Munn joined former "One Tree Hill" colleagues in supporting a letter advocating for one of the show's writers, who had made accusations of sexual harassment against the show's producer.

In her personal life, Munn began a relationship with actor Scott Holroyd, a childhood acquaintance, in 2004. They announced their engagement in Paris in December 2006 and were married on November 17, 2007, at the French Huguenot Church in Charleston, South Carolina. The couple resides in Los Angeles with their terrier, Buster Keaton. Munn announced the birth of their son in November 2011 via Twitter and welcomed their daughter in 2015
