About Allison Parks

Allison Parks was named Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month in October 1965 and went on to earn the title of Playmate of the Year in 1966. Following her time in the spotlight as a Playmate, she enjoyed a lengthy career as a model and actress, focusing primarily on television commercials. Later, she transitioned into the financial sector, working at an investment counseling firm.

Born on October 18, 1941, Gloria Sharlene Graf, also known as Allison, spent 35 years residing in Pacific Palisades. She graduated from Glendale High School in 1959, where she was a cheerleader. After marrying, she had two children and engaged in a modeling career that included television and print advertisements. Once her children were grown, she shifted her focus to the financial services industry, eventually retiring to dedicate her time to her grandchildren, travel, and pursue her artistic interests, including painting and jewelry making.

Allison and her husband, Michael Graf, were members of the Bel-Air Bay Club and enjoyed traveling to numerous exotic locations. She was also a certified scuba diver. She is survived by her son, Mark Junod, and his wife, Laura, from Aptos, California, her daughter, Kymberly Brownell, and her husband, Damon, from Mariposa, as well as her grandchildren: Sarah and Jessee Brownell and William and Lucas Junod, along with Sara and Kristen Ridgeway, the children of Michele Graf Ridgeway and her husband, Curt, from Aptos. Additionally, she is remembered by her parents, Leon and Dorothy Waldron of Glendale; her sister, Carroll Ropp, and her husband, Bill, also from Glendale; her brother, Sterling Waldron, and his wife, Kathy, of Hollywood; and Jackie Waldron, the widow of her late brother, Darrell Waldron.

Allison is celebrated for her beauty and grace, always generous with her smiles and compliments. The love and joy she brought into the lives of those around her are impossible to fully express, and she will be profoundly missed. A memorial service honoring her life was held on July 2 at the Bel-Air Presbyterian Church.
