About Amanda Schull
Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on August 26, 1978, Amanda Schull commands attention as both an accomplished television and film actress and a masterful ballet dancer. Her mother, Susan Schull, continues to lead the Hawaii Ballet, a testament to the family's deep roots in dance. Schull's early academic journey took her to Punahou School. By the age of seventeen, she had secured a ballet scholarship to Indiana University. While still completing her journalism degree, she immersed herself in an Intensive Ballet Summer School in San Francisco. This dedication paid off; upon the conclusion of her university scholarship in 1999, the director of the summer program offered her an apprenticeship, leading to her acceptance into the San Francisco Ballet.
It was during this apprenticeship that Schull landed the role of Jody Sawyer in the 2000 film Center Stage. Her acting career continued to blossom with a role as Davina Mayhan in the popular YTV sitcom My Family and Me. In May 2008, Schull relocated to Australia to film The First Dance, portraying the significant character of Elizabeth Mackey. This film later premiered in North America in 2010. Schull also made a guest appearance on the FOX television drama Lies to Me in 2009. In the same year, she was part of the Lifetime film Sorority Wars, sharing the screen with Courtney Thorne-Smith and Lucy Hale. Further demonstrating her versatility, she played Sara, the spectral presence of a deceased wife, in the CW's supernatural drama One Tree Hill. Schull also contributed a supportive guest role to the television series Ghost Whisperer in 2009. She further solidified her presence in dramatic television with a recurring role as Meredith in the ABC Family drama Pretty Little Liars. In 2012, Schull appeared in the TV drama Grimm as Lucinda, a character with parallels to Cinderella. Since 2013, she has been a familiar face on the USA Network's Suits, reprising the role of Katrina Bennett. In November 2013, Schull was cast as Cassandra Reilly in the television drama series 12 Monkeys.
