Ana Paula Renault — Biography
Ana Paula Renault is a Brazilian figure known for her work as a journalist, columnist, and television personality. Her introduction to the national spotlight came through her participation in the sixteenth season of the immensely popular reality competition, Big Brother Brasil. She entered the Big Brother house as a contestant, where her unyielding and assertive demeanor quickly garnered significant attention and praise. During her time on the show, she popularized the iconic catchphrase "Olha Ela," which swiftly became a national sensation. Despite her considerable success on the reality program, her journey within the house concluded prematurely following an altercation with a fellow participant. Not long after her exit from the Big Brother house, her growing visibility led to opportunities as an interviewer on the well-received program Video Show, broadcast on the same network. As her public profile continued to expand, Rede Globo extended an invitation for a guest appearance in the telenovela Haja Coração. By 2017, no longer bound by her previous network affiliations, she established a professional relationship with UOL, taking on the role of a web columnist. Her responsibilities in this capacity involved scrutinizing and offering commentary on television entertainment programs, including subsequent installments of Big Brother Brasil. Driven by persistent requests from her fanbase, in September 2018, she embarked on her tenure in the tenth season of the reality show A Fazenda, airing on Record, ultimately being the third contestant to be eliminated. Following her participation in A Fazenda, she continued her collaboration with UOL until 2019. She has been a contestant on Big Brother Brasil in seasons sixteen and twenty-six, and on A Fazenda season ten.
