Ana Serradilla — Biography
Ana Serradilla is a Mexican actress widely recognized for her portrayal of Griselda Blanco in the telenovela The Black Widow. Her artistic journey began during her fifth semester studying Graphic Design at Intercontinental University. She paused her academic pursuits to join TV Azteca's Artistic Training Center (CEFAC) from August to November 1997. In 1998, Serradilla took a leading role in the Mexican adaptation of the Argentine telenovela Chiquititas, a production by TV Azteca and Telefe.
While still enrolled at CEFAC in 1999, she joined the cast of the soap opera La vida en el espejo, where she played Paulita, the girlfriend of Diego Luna's character. Concurrently, she appeared in other series, including Embrújame, the Mexican version of Bewitched, and Momento de decisión, produced by Argos. That same year, she earned acclaim for her performance in the short film El duende del Reloj, directed by Tomás Farkas, which garnered awards at numerous festivals, notably the Milan International Festival.
In 2001, Serradilla featured in the telenovela When You Are Mine, sharing the screen with notable actors like Anette Michel and Silvia Navarro. She portrayed Daniela Sánchez Serrano, the sister of Sergio Basañez's character, and also participated in stage productions such as Dangerous Relationships and Love from the Point of View of Camilo Sesto. During 2001, she also starred in her first film, A Strange World, playing Dianita, a satirical portrayal of a television assistant. In addition, she lent her talents to advertising campaigns for various commercial brands across Mexico.
From September 2003 to March 2004, Serradilla was part of the telenovela Mirada de mujer, el viaje, the follow-up to the acclaimed 1997 series Mirada de mujer. She acted alongside a distinguished cast including Angélica Aragón and Mauricio Ochman, playing the character of Carolina. In 2008, she returned to television, taking a starring role in the Azteca soap opera Deseo Prohibido, where she co-starred with Aldemar Correa. In 2010, the actress was featured in the TV Azteca series Drainage Profundo. In 2011, she lent her voice to the character of Holley Shiftwell in the Latin American Spanish dub of the animated film Cars 2.
