Born Anarkali Janina Jayatilaka on July 12, 1987, Anarkali Akarsha is a multifaceted Sri Lankan talent. Her career encompasses roles as a film actress, model, singer, television host, and a foray into politics. She earned the title of Miss Sri Lanka in 2004, a distinction that led her to represent her nation at the Miss World pageant that same year. Beyond her performance and pageant work, Akarsha has also lent her profile to brand ambassadorships and fundraising initiatives. Her education was undertaken at Colombo International School.
