Andrea Cardoso's career in the spotlight gained significant momentum after her 1989 win as Garota do Fantástico. This victory opened doors to immediate opportunities, including an invitation for a Brazilian Playboy photoshoot in September 1990, which was further highlighted by the Ninfetas de Playboy 1990 superposter.
