Hailing from Woodstock, Ontario, Andrea Roth is a Canadian actress of Scottish and Dutch heritage, marking her as a first-generation descendant of those backgrounds. Her journey into performance began at the tender age of eleven with a role in the play The Miracle Worker. Her significant entry into the world of entertainment arrived with her starring role in the 1995 miniseries A Woman of Independent Means. In this historical drama, she portrayed Eleanor, the daughter of Sally Field's character, spanning the character's life from sixteen to sixty. The production also featured notable actors like Charles Durning and Tony Goldwyn. Roth's television career commenced earlier, with an appearance on HBO's Alfred Hitchcock Presents in 1985.
