Andrea Sawatzki — Biography

Born on February 23, 1963, in Schlehdorf, Andrea Sawatzki is a notable figure in German acting. Her role as police inspector Charlotte Sänger in the Hessischer Rundfunk iteration of the widely recognized television crime drama Tatort, a position she has held since 2002, has solidified her presence in the industry. Beyond this, Sawatzki achieved a degree of recognition on the international stage through her performances in the German films Bandits and Das Experiment. The daughter of a nurse and a journalist, she has been in a relationship with actor Christian Berkel since 1997. Together, they are parents to two sons, born in 1999 and 2002, and they make their home in Berlin. In 2003, Sawatzki also participated in a photographic project for the April edition of Playboy, featuring an erotic theme.
