About Angela Lindvall
Born on January 14, 1979, Angela Lindvall forged a successful path as both a model and an actress. Her journey in the fashion world began at the tender age of 14 when an IMG scout spotted her, leading to an immediate contract with IMG New York. After a brief hiatus, she returned to modeling at 17. Her career trajectory included a significant moment in 1997 with a cover for Italian Vogue, captured by the lens of Steven Meisel. Throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s, Lindvall graced the covers of numerous prestigious magazines, including Vogue, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, Marie Claire, Numero, W, i-D, and V, among others. During the height of her influential career, she became a favored muse for leading designers like Karl Lagerfeld, Miuccia Prada, and Stella McCartney, embodying the spirit of brands such as Prada and Chanel. Her modeling portfolio features her as the face of iconic fashion houses including Chanel, Gucci, Valentino, Prada, Calvin Klein, Miu Miu, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Versace, DKNY, Roberto Cavalli, Fendi, Missoni, Jil Sander, and Jimmy Choo. Beyond the runway, Lindvall ventured into acting, appearing in films such as CQ in 2001, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang in 2005, and Small Apartments in 2010. She also took on hosting duties for the fashion reality competition Project Runway: All Stars. In 2001, while on holiday in the British Virgin Islands, Lindvall met diver William Edwards from South Africa. Their union resulted in marriage in 2002, though the couple later divorced in 2006. Angela and William welcomed their first son, William Dakota Edwards, in February 2002. Their second son, Sebastian, was born in late May 2005.
