About Anne Consigny
Since 1981, Anne Consigny has graced the French cinematic landscape as a performer. Her portrayal in the 2005 film Not Here to Be Loved earned her recognition with a César Award nomination for Best Actress. Audiences also remember her as Claude in the 2007 drama The Diving Bell and the Butterfly and as Elizabeth in the 2008 film A Christmas Tale, a role that garnered her a César Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Consigny's lineage connects her to Pierre Consigny, who served as the head of cabinet for Prime Minister Maurice Couve de Murville. She is one of six children, and her brother, Thierry Consigny, is a writer and publicist, notable for his work La Mort de Lara. From her past relationship with French film director Benoît Jacquot, she has two sons: Vladimir Consigny, who also pursues acting, and Louis, born in 1994. Currently, she shares her life with art critic Éric de Chassey.
