Annie Lennox — Biography
Annie Lennox, an accomplished Scottish artist known for her singing and songwriting, is also a vocal advocate for political causes and a dedicated philanthropist. She first found a degree of recognition in the late 1970s as a member of the new wave group The Tourists. Later, alongside collaborator Dave Stewart, she propelled to global fame in the 1980s as part of the iconic duo Eurythmics. Her striking appearance in the 1983 video for "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)," characterized by a vibrant orange crop and sharp menswear, captured significant attention.
