Annie Potts — Biography
Annie Potts is an American performer whose career has spanned several decades and genres. Her early work garnered significant attention, leading to a Golden Globe nomination for her role in Corvette Summer in 1978. Three years later, she earned a Genie Award for her performance in Heartaches. Potts then became a recognizable face in a string of popular films, including the iconic Ghostbusters in 1984, followed by Pretty in Pink and Jumpin' Jack Flash, both released in 1986. She also appeared in Who's Harry Crumb? and the sequel Ghostbusters II, both from 1989. Beyond live-action, Potts lent her voice to the beloved character Bo Peep in three installments of the Toy Story series, with her contributions appearing in the first, second, and fourth films released in 1995, 1999, and 2019 respectively. Her portrayal of Bo Peep also extended to various Disney video game projects.
