Known for her distinctive dark gothic punk style, Lavigne maintains an edgy aesthetic that keeps her appearance youthful. When she was just 16 years old, she secured a two-album deal with Arista Records. Her first studio album, Let Go, released in 2002, became the top-selling album of the 21st century by a Canadian artist for over a decade until it was eventually surpassed by recordings from Drake and later The Weeknd.
