Azealia Amanda Banks, an American artist known for her rapping, singing, and songwriting, emerged from Harlem, New York City. Her musical journey began on Myspace in 2008, leading to a record deal with XL Recordings at the young age of 18. Her track "212" achieved significant recognition, being hailed by publications like Rolling Stone and Billboard as one of the standout songs of 2011 and a defining piece of the decade. Beyond her music, Banks has also commanded considerable attention for her presence on social media.

Her career path saw her move to Interscope and Polydor Records, though she parted ways with them in 2013.
