Bari Weiss — Biography

Bari Weiss is an American journalist known for her commentary on culture and politics. Her editorial career includes a tenure at The Wall Street Journal, where she served as an op-ed and book review editor from 2013 to 2017. Subsequently, she moved to The New York Times, taking on roles as an op-ed staff editor and a writer focusing on culture and politics from 2017 to 2020. Since March 1, 2021, Weiss has contributed as a regular columnist for the German daily newspaper Die Welt. She is also the founder of the media enterprise The Free Press, which was previously known as Common Sense, and she hosts the podcast Honestly.
