Bebe Buell, born Beverle Lorence Buell on July 14, 1953, is an American singer and a former fashion model who achieved fame as Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month in November 1974. After relocating to New York in 1972 under a modeling contract with Eileen Ford, she gained significant attention through her highly publicized relationship with musician Todd Rundgren, which lasted from 1972 until 1979. Throughout the next four decades, Buell was romantically linked with various rock musicians. In 1977, she became the mother of actress Liv Tyler, whom she had with Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler. Buell published an autobiography, co-authored with Victor Bockris, titled Rebel Heart: An American Rock and Roll Journey in 2001, which achieved New York Times bestseller status and was released in paperback the following year. Buell was also recognized as Playmate of the Month for November 1974 in both Playboy Germany and Playboy Italy.
