Bianca Castillo Peters, an American journalist and news anchor who has earned an Emmy, now helms "The Noon" and "The 6 O'Clock News" for FOX 5 New York, known as WNYW. Born on November 17, 1989, she traces her roots to Mexican-American heritage and possesses a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from California State University, Long Beach. Her career in broadcasting commenced in Long Beach, California, where she served as a sports anchor and reporter for College Beat Productions. Following this, she contributed to JUCE TV as a host and segment producer. Her path then led her to Medford, Oregon, where she worked as a news anchor and reporter for KOBI-TV, and subsequently to Miami, Florida, as a traffic anchor and sports reporter at WFOR-TV. Peters became part of the FOX 5 team in September 2019.
