Brande Roderick hails from Novato, California. Throughout her modeling career, she appeared on 15 magazine covers and completed 10 photo spreads along with 5 videos before stepping away from the industry in 2012. She was the eldest child in her family, with a younger brother named Jason. She was married to Glenn Cadrez, a retired NFL linebacker, and together they had five children consisting of three daughters and two sons before divorcing in 2017.

In April 2000, Roderick earned the distinction of being named Playboy Plus Playmate of the Month, followed by her selection as Playboy Plus Playmate of the Year in 2001. During 2000, she took on a role in the television series Baywatch Hawaii, playing the character Leigh Dyer. She transitioned into acting with various film appearances, including roles in Out of Control, a 2003 Bollywood production where she played an American spouse, as well as Bunny Whipped, Club Wild Side 2, Hood of Horror, Nanny Diaries, Sheer Passion, Starsky & Hutch, Stripper Wives, and Toxic. Her television guest appearances spanned shows such as Beverly Hills, Erotic Confessions, Fear Factor, Jesse, Just Shoot Me, Lucky 13, and The Parkers.

In 2006, Roderick competed as one of six celebrities on the CBS game show Gameshow Marathon, placing second to Kathy Najimy. She participated in the second season of Celebrity Apprentice in 2009, supporting the California Police Youth Charities, though she was eliminated in the penultimate episode. She returned for Celebrity Apprentice's sixth season in March 2013 alongside Claudia Jordan and Dennis Rodman.

Beyond entertainment, Roderick launched Financially Hung in 2008, a networking platform, and operates Fantaz, an online fantasy gaming site. She maintains a business connection with Adam Levine of Maroon 5 through the Italian shoe company Pantofola Doro.

Roderick became engaged to Glenn Cadrez in August 2006, a former linebacker who completed 11 seasons with the Denver Broncos, New York Jets, and Kansas City Chiefs. They married in June 2007 and welcomed their first child in March 2010. As of February 2024, she maintains 115,000 followers on Instagram. Additionally, she hosted the Playboy Shootout reality competition on Playboy TV in April 2009.
