Bridget Regan, born on February 3, 1982, is an American actress renowned for her prominent roles, notably as Kahlan Amnell in the ABC fantasy romance series "Legend of the Seeker" (2008–10) and as Sasha Cooper in the final three seasons of the TNT drama "The Last Ship" (2016–18). Her impressive range of recurring roles includes Rebecca Lowe/Rachel Turner in the USA Network series "White Collar" (2013–14), Rose Solano in the CW's "Jane the Virgin" (2014–19), Dottie Underwood in ABC's "Agent Carter" (2015–16), and Monica Stevens, a lawyer in ABC's "The Rookie" (2018–present). Bridget has also appeared in films such as "The Babysitters" (2007), "John Wick" (2014), and "Devil's Gate" (2017). As of February 2026, she boasts 308,000 followers on Instagram.
Born in Carlsbad, California, Bridget Catherine Regan grew up in a family with Irish and German heritage, raised within the Catholic faith. She began her acting journey as a child, performing in local productions such as "The Wizard of Oz" at La Paloma Theatre and "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" in Carlsbad. Regan later attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where she earned a BFA in drama in 2004. Following her graduation, she relocated to New York City to further her acting ambitions.
Regan's career took off in 2006 when she began appearing in various television shows and films. In 2008, she took on the role of Kahlan Amnell in "Legend of the Seeker," a series inspired by Terry Goodkind's "Sword of Truth" books. This performance garnered her a dedicated fan base. Naturally a redhead, she dyed her hair brown for this role. In 2009, she stepped into producing with the musical "Camp Wanatachi," which was staged at La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club in New York. Regan was later cast in the lead role for the proposed series "The Frontier" in 2012.
In 2013, she began a recurring role in the fifth season of "White Collar" as Rebecca Lowe/Rachel Turner, a romantic interest for the character Neal Caffrey. That same year, she appeared in a multi-episode arc as Alex, the ex-fiancée of Vincent Keller in "Beauty & the Beast." The following year, she joined "Jane the Virgin" as Rose, a former attorney who engages in a complex same-sex relationship. Regan also had a minor role as Addy in "John Wick" in 2014.
