Brianne Sidonie Desaulniers, performing under the stage name Brie Larson, is an accomplished American film and television actress. She established herself early on with comedic supporting roles during her teenage years before transitioning into leading positions within both independent and major studio productions. Her career achievements have earned her numerous prestigious honors, including an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Primetime Emmy Award. Time magazine recognized her as among the world's 100 most influential individuals during 2019. Beginning her professional journey at just six years old when she became the youngest participant admitted to the American Conservatory Theater's training program, Larson commenced her acting work in 1998 through a comedic appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jay Leno. She maintained a regular role in the 2001 television sitcom Raising Dad and briefly pursued a musical career, issuing the album Finally Out of P.E. in 2005.
