About Carla Camurati
Carla Camurati is a Brazilian performer and director. Her early career saw her gain recognition through appearances in numerous Rede Globo soap operas during the 1980s. Beyond television, she also engaged with children's theater and featured in films. Her performance in Eternamente Pagú earned her the Best Actress Award at the Festival de Gramado. Camurati's image graced the cover of Playboy Brazil in July 1983, following other photoshoots for the magazine in April 1982. In 1995, she transitioned to filmmaking, making her directorial debut with Carlota Joaquina, Princess of Brazil. From 2007 to 2014, she held the position of director for the Fundação Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro, the entity responsible for the administration of the Teatro Municipal.
