About Carolin Von Der Groeben

Born in Cologne on February 13, 1995, Carolin Gräfin von der Groeben is a multifaceted German talent involved in acting, journalism, voice work, and radio presentation. She hails from the esteemed von der Groeben lineage, with her parents being sports journalist Alexander von der Groeben and news anchor Ulrike von der Groeben, originally named Elfes. Her foray into voice acting commenced at an early age, notably lending her voice to the character of Peppa Pig in the popular children's series of the same name in 2004. This early success paved the way for numerous subsequent voice and acting engagements. Audiences may recognize her from her role in the German soap opera “Alles was zählt” ("All That Matters"), where she appeared between 2008 and 2011. More recently, since 2019, she has been contributing as a reporter for the “Y-Kollektiv,” a program associated with "funk," a video-on-demand platform funded by Germany's public broadcasters, ARD and ZDF. In April 2022, she released a report titled “30 Tage Challenge: So schwierig war es, keinen Alkohol zu trinken!” (30-Day Challenge: This is how difficult it was not to drink alcohol!), which sparked considerable discussion. In this piece, Groeben stated that she uses alcohol to cope with challenges and that frequent drinking is a regular part of her life. This assertion led to accusations from critics that she was promoting alcohol abuse and downplaying its seriousness. During 2022, she also hosted a variety of segments for the adult entertainment website Ersties.com.
