About Claudia Marsani
Claudia Marsani's life was shaped by a globetrotting upbringing, a consequence of her father's career with the United Nations. Born in Kenya, her formative years unfolded across diverse landscapes, from Thailand and Morocco to Libya. The family eventually returned to their Italian homeland when she was a teenager. It was in 1973, at the age of fifteen, that Marsani first stepped into the Italian spotlight, achieving recognition by winning the Miss Teenager competition. Her fluency in English, alongside French which had become her primary language during her extensive time abroad, proved invaluable. This linguistic ease facilitated her transition into acting, with her cinematic debut occurring in 1974. The legendary Luchino Visconti recognized her talent, casting her as the modern and ethically flexible Lietta in "Gruppo di famiglia in un interno." In this film, she shared the screen with esteemed actors such as Burt Lancaster and Silvana Mangano. At sixteen, and with her father's consent, Marsani also graced the pages of the Italian edition of Playboy.
