Colleen Haskell — Biography
Born on December 6, 1976, Colleen Marie Haskell is an American talent known for her work both in front of and behind the camera. Her initial claim to national recognition came through her participation in the inaugural season of the American reality competition Survivor. Haskell was a member of the Pagong tribe, a group predominantly composed of younger individuals, contrasting with their opposing tribe, Tagi. She ultimately stood as the sole survivor from the original Pagong group before her departure from the game. As her torch was snuffed, she imparted a final sentiment to the remaining competitors: "Be nice, play fair." Richard Hatch, another participant, later characterized her as "a wonderful person." A significant segment of the audience anticipated Haskell's return for the 2004 Survivor: All-Stars season. Producer Mark Burnett later confirmed that she had received an invitation but opted not to participate, stating she had progressed in her life and was no longer inclined to revisit that particular experience. In 2001, Haskell took on a starring role in the comedy film The Animal, portraying the romantic interest to Rob Schneider's character. Schneider himself commented on the DVD release that his collaboration with Haskell was a particularly positive element of the film's production. Haskell also made a guest appearance on an episode of That ’70s Show, playing Hyde’s romantic partner. The subsequent year, 2002, saw her appear in the television series Maybe It’s Me. In 2003, she transitioned to a role behind the scenes, serving as a production assistant on The Michael Essany Show.
