About Courtney Henggeler
Courtney Henggeler's talents extend across acting, modeling, and singing. From a young age, a theatrical flair was evident in her personality. She pursued formal acting training in Los Angeles. Her initial foray into performing was during her ninth-grade year, when she auditioned for her high school's staging of 'Carousel.' During her audition, she humorously mimed eating an apple while delivering a song about clams. Her professional acting career began with a role as Susan Beth in the 2003 film, The Bog Creatures. Her television introduction occurred in the series House, with appearances in 2004 and 2005. She gained significant recognition for her portrayal of Missy Cooper in the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory, a role she took on in 2008. In April of 2025, Henggeler announced her decision to leave the acting profession entirely. She explained that she no longer wished to be a mere participant in the industry's structure, nor to struggle for the minimal opportunities available to most aspiring actors, which often fall far short of their ambitions. She is married to Ross Kohn, and together they have two children: a son, Oscar Noah Kohn, born on January 25, 2017, and a daughter, Georgie Healy Kohn, born on March 1, 2019. As of January 2026, Henggeler has cultivated a following of 474,000 on Instagram.
