About Courtney Love
Courtney Love, born Love Michelle Harrison on July 9, 1964, in San Francisco, was later renamed Courtney Michelle Harrison in 1970. She is known as an American singer-songwriter, actress, and visual artist. Love founded the band Hole in 1989 with Eric Erlandson, taking on the roles of lead singer and rhythm guitarist. Within two years, Hole emerged as a prominent force in the burgeoning Seattle grunge scene, their rise fueled by the group's feminist and punk ethos. This success was cemented with the release of their debut album, Pretty On The Inside, in 1991, followed by Live Through This in 1994. Love was married to Kurt Cobain, the frontman of Nirvana, with whom she shares a daughter, Frances Bean Cobain. She is the widow of Kurt Cobain and the mother of Frances Bean Cobain.
