Courtney Stodden — Biography

Courtney Alexis Stodden, born on August 29, 1994, is an American personality known for her work in the media, glamor modeling, and music. She first drew global attention when, at just 16 years old, she wed Doug Hutchison, a 51-year-old actor, in 2011. Their relationship sparked significant controversy and received extensive coverage in the media.

Courtney began her career in the entertainment industry around 2009 to 2011, participating in beauty pageants and making appearances on cable television during her teenage years. She was a participant in the reality show "Couples Therapy" in 2012, which focused on her tumultuous marriage to Hutchison. She also took part in the UK version of "Celebrity Big Brother" in 2013, as well as several other reality series, including "Reality Ex-Wives" in 2015, "The Mother/Daughter Experiment" in 2016, "Celebs Go Dating" in 2017, and her own show, "Courtney," which aired on the FNL Network from 2019 to 2020.

In addition to her television appearances, she ventured into music, releasing original songs such as "Car Candy," "Crazy," "Don’t Put It On Me," "Hurting People," and "We Are America," beginning in 2010. In May 2015, she made headlines when Vivid Entertainment released a solo sex tape, with Courtney indicating that the proceeds would benefit charity. She signed with Rich Kid Mafia, a management and label company, in August 2015 and was featured in the independent film "Love Addict" in 2016.

Courtney's personal life has been marked by significant controversy. Her marriage to Hutchison, considered by many as predatory due to their age gap, led to her being labeled a "child bride." The marriage came to an end with a divorce finalized in March 2020. In March 2022, Courtney publicly expressed feelings of having been groomed, emotionally abused, and exploited during the relationship.

She follows a vegetarian diet, driven by her beliefs rather than dietary restrictions, and has served as a spokesperson for PETA. Identifying as a Christian, she openly supports gay marriage. In April 2021, Courtney came out as non-binary, initially using they/them pronouns, which she later modified to she/they in June 2022. She also identifies as bisexual.
