About Cynthia Daniel
Cynthia Lynn Daniel, also known by her married name Cynthia Hauser, is an American artist who has worked both in front of and behind the camera. She shares her birthday and a remarkable resemblance with her twin sister, actress Brittany Daniel. Cynthia is widely recognized for her portrayal of Elizabeth Wakefield in the popular 1990s syndicated teen drama Sweet Valley High.
Following the conclusion of Sweet Valley High in 1997, Daniel shifted her focus away from acting, embarking on a career in photography. Her acting appearances became infrequent, with a notable exception being a 2002 episode of That 80s Show, where she reunited on screen with her twin sister. In 2022, she returned to acting for the remake of Cheaper by the Dozen, sharing the screen with Brittany once more and marking her first role since that 2002 appearance.
Born on March 17, 1976, in Gainesville, Florida, Cynthia Daniel also has a background in modeling, beginning alongside her twin during their high school years. Their shared striking looks led to commercial work, including a layout for Caboodles and appearances as the "Doublemint Twins" in television advertisements.
Cynthia is married to actor Cole Hauser, and their union, which began on December 22, 2006, has resulted in three children: Ryland, Steely Rose, and Colt Daniel Hauser. A testament to their deep bond, Cynthia once donated an egg to her identical twin sister Brittany and her husband, leading to the conception and birth of their niece, Hope, in October 2021. Cynthia is five minutes younger and one inch taller than her twin, Brittany. She also experienced the high school honor of being crowned Homecoming Queen and, much like her Sweet Valley High character, was a cheerleader during her school years. Her parents are Carolyn and Chartlon B Daniel Jr.
