Danielle Iannelli, known professionally as Dava Foxx, was born on April 27, 1982 in Yonkers, New York, where she spent her formative years. She comes from Italian heritage. She experienced her first sexual encounter at age sixteen. After completing high school, she relocated to Florida for college and graduated from the University of Central Florida. She spent some time in Miami following graduation before eventually settling in Manhattan.
