Devon Michaels was born on March 8, 1970, in Chicago, Illinois, and is recognized as an American adult film actress and model. Raised in the Peoria, Illinois area with her two brothers, she pursued her education at Bradley University before making the leap to New York City in search of better opportunities. There, she began her career as an exotic dancer, eventually becoming a prominent performer in clubs nationwide. Before entering the realm of adult entertainment, Michaels carved out a name for herself in the modeling industry, working as a nude and fitness model. Her first notable feature was on the cover of Chéri magazine in 1990.
