Born in Kansas on April 26, 1984, Emily Wickersham joined the cast of NCIS in its eleventh season. She was initially brought on for a three-episode stint as NSA Analyst Eleanor "Ellie" Bishop in November 2013, filling a gap left by Cote de Pablo's departure. This role eventually evolved into a series regular position, with her character going on to become an NCIS Special Agent. Wickersham concluded her eight-year tenure on the popular CBS drama following the eighteenth season finale on May 26, 2021, announcing her exit on Instagram.

Beyond her prominent role on NCIS, Wickersham has also lent her talents to the feature film Gone and has made various guest appearances on television shows.
