About Emily Wickersham
Born in Kansas on April 26, 1984, Emily Wickersham joined the cast of NCIS in its eleventh season. She was initially brought on for a three-episode stint as NSA Analyst Eleanor "Ellie" Bishop in November 2013, filling a gap left by Cote de Pablo's departure. This role eventually evolved into a series regular position, with her character going on to become an NCIS Special Agent. Wickersham concluded her eight-year tenure on the popular CBS drama following the eighteenth season finale on May 26, 2021, announcing her exit on Instagram.
Beyond her prominent role on NCIS, Wickersham has also lent her talents to the feature film Gone and has made various guest appearances on television shows. Her personal life includes a marriage to musician Blake Hanley, which took place on November 23, 2010, on Little Palm Island in the Florida Keys. The couple later divorced in December 2018. In 2021, Wickersham welcomed a son with her partner, James Badge Dale. The couple married in September 2024 and welcomed their second child in October 2024. On her family tree, Wickersham counts the football player Isadore Anderson as her great-grandfather. Her heritage includes both Austrian and Swedish roots.
