About Emma Heesters
Emma Heesters is a Dutch musician who rose to prominence through her eponymous YouTube channel. Her online presence is largely defined by her prolific output of song covers, reinterpreting popular hits for her audience. Beyond her interpretation of others' work, Emma is also an accomplished singer and songwriter herself, with her original material appearing on singles available for purchase on iTunes. As of the beginning of 2025, she commands a significant following, boasting 2.3 million followers on Instagram and over 5.9 million subscribers on her YouTube platform.
Her journey into online stardom began with the creation of her YouTube channel on May 2, 2008, though her initial video upload didn't occur until February 28, 2014. Since its inception, her channel has grown to encompass over 2.8 million subscribers. In January 2016, she released an album titled Cover Sessions, Volume 2, which collected some of the popular song covers previously shared on her YouTube channel.
Originally from The Netherlands, Emma was born and spent her formative years there. Her success on YouTube is partly attributed to her popular renditions of well-known songs, including notable covers of Justin Bieber's "Let Me Love You" and Rihanna's "Work."
