Eleniak comes from a Ukrainian family on her father's side, with her mother having Estonian and German heritage. Her paternal great-grandfather, Wasyl Eleniak, was among the earliest Ukrainian pioneers who immigrated to Canada. Erika Eleniak is an American-Canadian performer, model, and Playboy Playmate best recognized for her portrayal of Shauni McClain on the television series Baywatch. She made her cinematic debut in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial in 1982, playing the student who kisses Elliot during a classroom sequence. Throughout her career, Eleniak has appeared in various television programs and films. Her movie roles included the 1988 science fiction remake The Blob, the action film Under Siege from 1992, Girl In The Cadillac in 1995, and a 1995 video game appearance in Panic In The Park. On television, she had a recurring part in the sitcom Charles In Charge starting in 1989, guest-starred on Full House in 1990, and held a prominent role in the acclaimed nineties drama Baywatch from 1989 to 1992. She was named Playboy Brazil Playmate of the Month in October 1989, Playboy Argentina Playmate of the Month in November 1989, and Playboy Czech Republic Playmate of the Month in July 1993.
