About Erin Kellyman
Born on October 17, 1998, Erin Kellyman is a British performer who has made a notable impact on screen. Audiences recognize her as Enfys Nest, the formidable leader of the Cloud Riders in the film Solo: A Star Wars Story. She also portrayed Eponine Thénardier in the 2019 BBC rendition of Victor Hugo's classic novel, Les Miserables.
Hailing from Tamworth in Staffordshire, Kellyman honed her craft at the Nottingham Television Workshop. Her television credits include an appearance in Raised by Wolves, a project penned by Caitlin Moran and her sister Caroline Moran for Channel 4. Prior to that, in 2016, she featured in the BBC sitcom The Coopers Vs The Rest, sharing the screen with Tanya Franks and Kerry Godliman. This series revolved around three adopted children navigating life with their suburban parents.
The character of Nest in Solo garnered significant attention, with critics hailing her as "the anti-hero we deserve" and "the most important new character introduced in the movie." This particular role is credited with bringing Kellyman "global recognition." Her casting in the film followed a rigorous three-stage audition process.
Kellyman's involvement in the BBC's Les Misérables adaptation saw her embody Éponine alongside a cast that included Olivia Coleman, Lily Collins, David Oyelowo, and Dominic West. She openly expressed her appreciation for the diversity within the BBC production, admitting that she hadn't previously envisioned herself having the opportunity to play such a part in a historical drama. Looking ahead, Kellyman is slated to appear in a new dark comedy series for BBC Two titled Don't Forget The Driver, where she will star alongside Toby Jones.
