Gail Stanton — Biography

Gail Stanton, born on November 19, 1954, in Memphis, Tennessee, was an American actress and nude model. She gained significant recognition as the Playmate of the Month in the June 1978 edition of Playboy magazine, with her centerfold captured by photographer David Chan. Her initial exposure came from a layout featured in the April 1977 issue titled "Girls of the New South." Tragically, Stanton passed away on November 21, 1996, just two days after celebrating her 42nd birthday, due to complications arising from a colon blockage. Throughout her career, she held the title of Playmate in various international editions of Playboy, including Playboy France in June 1978, Playboy Japan in July 1978, Playboy Brazil in December 1978, and Playboy Italy in October 1982.
