Gay-Yee Westerhoff — Biography

Born in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England on June 14, 1973, Gay-Yee Westerhoff is a British cellist recognized for her membership in the all-female string ensemble, Bond. Her musical education began with A-level studies in music at Wyke College in her hometown, followed by a distinguished Honours Degree in music earned at Trinity College of Music in London. Westerhoff's extensive performance experience includes collaborations with a diverse range of artists and musical acts such as Primal Scream, the Spice Girls, Talvin Singh, Embrace, Sting, Bryan Adams, Barry Manilow, and Vanessa-Mae.
