Gena Lee Nolin was born on November 29, 1971, in Duluth, Minnesota, and is a well-known American actress and model famous for her key roles on the game show The Price Is Right and the action series Baywatch during the 1990s. Raised on a Minnesota farm, Nolin was quite active in her youth, engaging in sports such as ice fishing, volleyball, men's basketball, and softball. She later moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she initially worked in the service industry before competing in and winning the Miss Las Vegas beauty pageant. This achievement opened up opportunities with modeling agencies, prompting her relocation to Los Angeles, where she balanced her acting ambitions with studies in interior design at Santa Monica College.

Starting her journey as a waitress in California, Nolin opted for breast augmentation surgery in 1993. The following year, she answered a newspaper ad for The Price Is Right and beat out over 1,200 other candidates, earning a spot among the iconic Barker's Beauties. She also made a guest appearance in a modeling role on the daytime soap opera The Young and the Restless. Her career notably peaked in 1995 when she was cast as Neely Capshaw in Baywatch, becoming the second actress to portray this character, which was originally meant to be a temporary role. In June 1997, she became a mother to her son Spencer with Greg Fahlman, after which she returned to modeling, appearing in Maxim magazine. Nolin left Baywatch in 1998 and later launched her own TV show, Sheena, which debuted in 2000. A bold photoshoot for Playboy in late 2001 further boosted her visibility.

Nolin's first marriage to David Alan Feiler in 1991 lasted just over a month and ended due to Feiler's troubling behavior, which required legal action. She wed Fahlman on November 27, 1993, after meeting him at a convention. Following the cancellation of her show in 2002, Nolin and Fahlman divorced in 2004, and she began dating professional hockey player Cale Hulse. During this time, an explicit video featuring her appeared online. Nolin married Hulse on September 3, 2004, at the Royal Palms Resort and Spa in Phoenix, Arizona, with their son Hudson Lee Hulse born on April 15, 2006, in Scottsdale, Arizona.
