Giorgia Meloni is an Italian politician who has held the office of prime minister since October 2022, making her the first woman to ever occupy this role. She became a member of the Chamber of Deputies in 2006 and has been at the helm of the right-wing Brothers of Italy (FdI) party since 2014. Additionally, she has presided over the European Conservatives and Reformists Party since 2020. In 2023, Forbes recognized Meloni as the fourth most powerful woman globally. The following year, Time magazine acknowledged her as one of the most influential individuals worldwide. Meloni's family background includes her grandmother, Zoe Incrocci, a former actress. Apart from her mother tongue, she is proficient in English, French, and Spanish. In 2015, she started a relationship with Andrea Giambruno, a journalist affiliated with Mediaset TV. They welcomed a daughter in 2016. On October 20, 2023, Meloni revealed her separation from Giambruno after he made off-air comments during a segment of Striscia la notizia that were deemed "sexist" and "chauvinist," including a proposition to a female coworker for a threesome.
