Hana Nitsche — Biography

Hana Nitsche is a German individual who first gained public recognition in 2007. Her journey to prominence began with her participation in the third season of Germany's Next Top Model, where she secured the third position. Prior to this, in 2005, Nitsche had already achieved success by winning the Model of the World Germany competition.

Following her success on the reality show, Nitsche embarked on a modeling career that included walking in fashion presentations for designers and brands such as Unrath & Strano, Mango, Allude, Guido Maria Kretschmer, and Lena Hoschek. Her presence has graced the pages of numerous magazines since 2005, appearing in editorials and on covers for publications like Harper's Bazaar Arabia, Elle Turkey, Maxim Germany and US editions, Glamour, FHM Germany, France, and Netherlands editions, Cosmopolitan Cyprus, Women's Health US, Spoil Me Greece, and GQ Italy. She has also been featured in advertising campaigns and promotional events for companies including Anson's, C&A, Karstadt, Volvo, Opel, Herbal Essences, and Esprit. Nitsche's work also extended to a commercial for the New York City department store Lord & Taylor, which aired on American television.

Beyond her modeling work, Nitsche has appeared in music videos for artists such as Marquess, Barış Akarsu, Michael Mind, and Max Mutzke. In 2009, she took on a supporting role in the film Men's Hearts. A notable moment in her career occurred in 2011 when she was photographed alongside Swedish model Marcus Schenkenberg for the fashion brand Camp David, and later that year, she participated in a naked photo shoot for PETA's anti-fur campaign. She also showcased her runway presence at Berlin Fashion Week in 2011 for Stephan Pelger. In October 2016, Maxim magazine placed Nitsche on its cover and recognized her as number one on their "Hot 100" list. In January 2017, she joined the cast of the singing competition It Takes 2 on RTL.

Hana Nitsche has also dedicated her time to charitable causes, serving as a patron for the “Health Center Jattaba” in Gambia since June 2020. In August 2018, she and her fiancé, Chris Welch, welcomed a daughter. The couple is now married and resides in California.
