About Hannah Graaf

Hannah Graaf, born Hannah Rakel Serafia Graf Karyd on August 31, 1978, is a Swedish personality recognized for her work as a glamour model and singer. Alongside her identical twin, Magdalena Graaf, she was part of a Eurodance musical act. Raised in Kungsängen, near Stockholm, Graaf's early life involved singing within the Swedish Pentecostal Church. Her noticeable height led her to begin a modeling career in her teenage years.

Graaf's modeling career often saw her working alongside her sister, Magdalena. Their joint appearances in men's magazines generated considerable attention and some controversy, which in turn boosted their public profile. In 1998, the sisters decided to shift their focus from modeling to their music aspirations. After releasing one record, they moved on from that musical venture, with Magdalena then dedicating her time to her family. In 2000, Graaf sought to change her image, adopting a look that was the antithesis of her previous blonde bombshell persona by dyeing her hair brown and wearing brown contact lenses. This new appearance was featured on the cover of Cafe magazine and remained her style until the birth of her son in 2001. A resurgence for The Graaf Sisters occurred in 2004 when they traveled to Los Angeles for a photo spread in FHM magazine.

In 1998, Graaf stepped away from glamour modeling to pursue music. That same year, she officially formed the musical duo The Graaf Sisters with her sister, Magdalena. Their music was produced by notable figures such as Christer Sandelin, Tommy Ekman, and Rob 'n' Raz. The group achieved a number one hit in Sweden with the song "You Got (What I Want)." Hannah has spoken of their extensive touring during this period as a vibrant and enjoyable chapter of her life. The duo has since been on an extended break as both sisters have married and started families. In 2002, a legal dispute arose between the sisters and Mikael Brinkenstierna. Brinkenstierna claimed he had a management agreement with the sisters, dating back to 1996, entitling him to 25% of their future record sales. He alleged he had invested considerable time in their success but received no payment. The sisters, however, countered that Brinkenstierna provided no assistance and accused him of deceit, citing a similar disagreement he had with the pop group Aqua. Following a divorce, Graaf briefly re-entered the music scene. In 2006, she competed in Melodifestivalen, Sweden's national selection event for the Eurovision Song Contest, performing the song "Naughty Boy." In late 2007, Graaf co-hosted the Idol 2007 aftershow program, "Idol eftersnack," with Doreen Månsson, interviewing contestants
